Andrew Gaynor

Founder and Lead Engineer

Andrew holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and has been designing high performance composite structures for over 15 years. 

Andrew first got involved in the America's Cup in 2006, and has been a member of Oracle Racing teams since 2008. For the 2010 Cup,  Andrew was instrumental in the design of the largest wing (yacht and aircraft) the world has seen.  The team successfully defended the Cup in 2013, which became known as one of the greatest comebacks in all sports, and for ushering in the era of hydrofoil catamarans.

Andrew has worked hard to establish himself outside of marine applications, working on projects for industry leaders in aerospace, military, automotive and consumer electronics.
